A precise inquiry helps suppliers evaluate product suitability, packing, route, documents, and delivery timing without avoidable assumptions.
State the exact grade, applicable national or international standard, required test parameters, test methods, and intended use. For penetration-grade material, the grade name alone may not capture every project requirement.
Identify whether the project prefers new steel drums, jumbo bags, bulk delivery, or another suitable option. Include unit weight, palletization, container type, markings, and unloading capability.
Provide total quantity, shipment lots, tolerance, target loading window, required arrival timing, and whether the demand is one-off or part of a longer procurement program.
State the port, terminal, border point, or site and the requested Incoterm. Mention route restrictions, customs or document requirements, and storage or discharge limitations.
Attach the buyer specification and define required certificates, sampling, testing, inspection company, inspection point, acceptance criteria, and any retained-sample or dispute procedure.
Include the purchasing entity, country, contact person, business email, intended application, payment-method preference, and any tender, banking, compliance, or contractual requirements.
