What information should an RFQ include?
Provide the product and specification, quantity, preferred packaging, destination, requested Incoterm, target shipment or delivery period, intended application, and any inspection or documentation requirements.
Are product specifications and origins fixed?
No. Availability, origin, allocation, specification, packaging, and schedule depend on the confirmed supply opportunity. The applicable details are stated in the quotation and contract.
Which commercial documents may be available?
The agreed document set may include a commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin, quality certificate or Certificate of Analysis, quantity or weight documentation, and transport documents.
Can independent inspection be arranged?
Independent inspection may be coordinated when the inspection company, scope, location, timing, acceptance criteria, and cost allocation are mutually agreed.
Which Incoterms can be considered?
EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF, and DAP may be considered where commercially and operationally suitable. The final delivery basis is confirmed for each transaction.
